Timeline

Please see above (Phases 1, 2 & 3) for timeline

Management:

We will use the Advice Process (as documented in “Reinventing Organizations”) for all Decision Making & Division of duties / responsibilities. A full exposition of our Decision Making process is available in our “governing documents”, which is available upon request.

Labor Sources:

The principle source of labor will be Workshop attendees (who pay to learn the construction techniques) and Volunteers / Interns who are pursuing certification in the construction and associated infrastructure techniques, frequently for college credit. We will also host Woofers as necessary. Training is provided by the owners and certified instructors.

Finance / Accounting

We have capital sufficient to cover all startup costs, including a 25% down payment. We are seeking bank financing for a mortgage on the land. We will use standard accounting practices. All accounts and records will be transparently available to all members at all times via our intranet. Our decision making process is defined as occurring principally online, and all records of all decisions and dialogs associated with those decisions are available to all members all the time.

Exit Strategy:

If the land membership is unable to support the land, then it may be sold to pay off the mortgage and recoup startup capital.
