Business Model Overview

See also: Finances, Startup Equity Splits , and Monthly Expenses
Habitats for Happiness come with a fully functional Business Model to help them get off to a good start. While it is expected that members will have diversified interests and will engage in many activities according to those interests, they also have the opportunity to Host DomeGaia Workshops and Certification Programs. Imagine having your monthly mortgage paid for by people attending workshops to build your buildings for you!

There is a tremendous amount of excitement and energy around Domegaia building techniques. The opportunity to host Domegaia workshops is a very powerful and profitable option that readily allows interested Centers & their members to convert free time into cash. The Domegaia workshops serve to augment, not replace other activities that the Centers & their members choose to engage in.

For a detailed example of how hosting workshops can be integrated into a Center's Business Plan with a tremendously positive effect on its cashflow, please check out the Documentation on Monthly Expenses / profits. For an example of how one of the Habitats for Happiness is integrating Hosting Workshops into its overall Business Plan, please check out the Business Plan for DomeGaia - Kauai.
